Gentrification is a geographic-social-urban process that occurs when populations of medium-high socioeconomic class migrate to neighborhoods where the original residents are of lower socioeconomic class. Following that, this research aims to provide an answer to the following question: Do gentrification processes and the displacement of long-time residents occur in “Demolition and Reconstruction” projects in Israel?
