Non-Thesis program

The M.Ur.P. Program spans two years (4 semesters), and offers a multidisciplinary curriculum integrating varied fields as economics, environmental studies, sociology, psychology and transportation. The faculty is made up of professors and lecturers with expertise in both teaching, research, and planning practice. Many of them are considered international authorities in their fields and are actively involved in local planning. The Master of Urban and Regional Planning is an excellent starting point to work in this fascinating and dynamic field.

Curriculum

  • Preliminary courses: required based on the applicant’s undergraduate transcripts, detailed at the time of admission (up to 2 courses totaling 4 points)
  • Compulsory courses - 4 courses totaling 12 points
  • Studio (mandatory) - 3 courses totaling 12 points
  • Research seminar - 3 points
  • Elective courses - variable number of points (requirements will be detailed at the time of admission)

Note: The total study points will be determined according to the student's academic background, but will not be higher than 50 points (not including the preliminary courses).

Admission requirements

The program accepts students with a bachelor’s degree in Architectural Sciences, Landscape Architecture, engineering or sciences, with an excellent academic record (grade point average of 85 or above), and students with a bachelor’s degree in social sciences and humanities who ranked in the top 15% of their graduating class.
